Approved Yard Network

Apply to join a network buyers already trust.

Chesapeake Pallets places national accounts with a vetted tier of independent pallet yards. We partner with operators, not intermittent suppliers — one standard for spec, compliance, and on-time delivery, and one company that owns every load from quote to dock. If your yard can hold that bar, an application starts a structured review.

Why operators partner with us

A managed program, not a stream of one-off calls.

A standard worth meeting

This is a credentialed tier, not an open list. We keep the network small on purpose, because a partner's performance is our performance in front of the buyer. Yards are reviewed against fixed criteria for spec accuracy, compliance, and delivery — so acceptance signals that your operation clears the same bar we hold ourselves to.

One relationship, national demand

You plug into a managed program, not a stream of one-off calls. We carry the buyer relationship, the quoting, and the account management, and route matched, recurring volume that fits your footprint and capacity — so your team runs production, not prospecting.

We own the load end to end

From quote to dock, Chesapeake stays accountable to the customer, including the under-24-hour delivery promise. You fulfill to a clear written spec; we handle coordination, communication, and the commitment. One contact on our side owns the account.

Built to scale with you

Our strongest partnerships are recurring, multi-site programs. Growth is performance-led: yards that hold spec and hit delivery windows consistently move up to larger, steadier, more predictable allocations.

What we look for

The bar is the point.

We keep the network small on purpose. Every buyer order is owned by Chesapeake end to end, which means a yard's performance is our performance — so admission is by structured review, not first-come, and we open the next tier of partners only where buyer demand in a region calls for added coverage. We review every applicant against the same standard we answer to for our buyers, and we place loads only with yards that can hold it consistently.

  • Spec discipline. Repeatable accuracy on GMA 48×40, block, stringer, and custom builds, with grading you can defend lot to lot.

  • Compliance in good standing. ISPM-15 / heat-treatment capability where required, plus certifications relevant to your output (FSC, food-grade, ISO 9001). Documentation on request.

  • Insurance and standing. Current general liability coverage and a safe, organized operation we are comfortable putting our name behind.

  • Fulfillment reliability. Demonstrated on-time performance, realistic stated capacity, and the ability to hold a delivery window — because we promise the dock in under 24 hours.

  • Capacity and coverage. Clear monthly throughput and a service radius we can match against live regional demand, with depth where our buyers are already asking.

  • Operational fit. Responsive coordination, proactive communication when conditions change, and the willingness to be measured on quality over time.
